This year’s art contest entries inspire our slogan for the 25th anniversary 2008-09 addition, "Rooted In The Valley." Though the artwork sumbission theme this year was the same as last year, San Lorenzo Valley, the entries were interepreted by artists differently. In an interesting twist, most of the entries this year were of trees. Most of last year's entries were of bridges.
Ever since SLVBD’s inception, the art contest for the front cover has always been an exciting event. It is a great opportunity for local artists to receive recognition for their craft. Submissions were judged by impartial people. All entries were anonymous until the winners were revealed. Thank you so much for your interest and participation, San Lorenzo Valley residents!
