Each year, we offer the local community a chance to participate in the cover contest, and win. For all the years past, this coveted spot went to a person who submitted their photo and was selected by a panel of judges. This year, we decided to open up the space as an advertising opportunity. It's possible to purchase the space and have your photo run for sure, as opposed to applying and hoping to win. Whether you want to take a chance at winning, or would rather purchase the space, let us know. We are always looking for fresh and exciting local imagery to showcase. If you choose to apply, and win, remember that cover contest winners get $100.

We need you to make the 39th annual San Lorenzo Valley Business Directory (SLVBD) a success. The art contest for the front cover has always been an exciting event. SLVBD now has a larger format and this new website, www.slvbd.com. We would like to
showcase your art in both. As always, the printed SLVBD is distributed to every home, businesses and P.O. Box in San Lorenzo Valley. Submit your art today!
SLVBD Cover Art Contest Rules:
Entries are due by January 15, 2024. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page. Winners will be featured in the 39th annual edition of SLVBD, as well
as on the website at www.slvbd.com. Winner receives the cover spot.
Artwork theme is The Colors Of San Lorenzo Valley. Entries will be judged by
impartial, local people.
Any medium is accepted, and fine art is highly encouraged. Send electronic files. No art will be returned. Each entry must be submitted with the following information.

The winning artwork becomes the exclusive property of SLVBD, which shall retain the rights to make any modifications deemed necessary and/or for use in future promotion.
SLVBD reserves the right to discontinue the competition if, in the opinion of the judges, the submissions fail to achieve an acceptable level of originality and design excellence.
